The BS2, Buikschuiver 2, is a Lemsteraak. This is a typical traditional Dutch 46ft, 30 tons flat bottom boat like the former Queen of the Netherlands, princess Beatrix, owns. The BS2 has a steel hull, wooden mast and wooden asymmetric side dagger boards making her ideal for the shallow Dutch lakes and tidal areas.

This family boat with 12 berths is CFD-aided designed to perform well in races. BS2’s quality on the racecourse is endorsed by her 5 consecutive Dutch National titles, including the latest one. Built in 2012, designed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects, owned by our CEO Peter Houtzagers and in 2012 the first in her class to be fitted with SAILMON. To date, 3 more Lemsteraaks are fitted with SAILMON – with more to follow soon.
