Every Cabin

Once the E4 is integrated in the ships network, all navigational data can be accessed over the network. It can be on Sailmon displays or Smart devices as long as the ships network is there.

Every signal

With our easy external channel protocol you can send any variable to our system over UDP, whether it is fridge temperature, hydraulic pressure or foil angle. With our intuitive user interface you can name it and route it to most marine displays using NMEA 2000, fastnet or 0183.

Technical specifications

Parallel Universe Playback
Parallel universe records all sensory data from all your inputs. Parallel universe allows you to reply and pause all raw, uncooked data back to the E4. Parallel Universe allows you to verify your calibrations, recalibrations and so forth, this playback capability is exclusive to the Black. Over time Parallel universe will give you the platform to test if your calibration settings work over a range of conditions in a fraction of the time.

External Channels
Display any data you want. The E4 Black works with external channels, allowing 128 custom channels to be sent to the Sailmon Black System. These custom channels are simple UDP packets which you can learn more about here: (link to manual). Examples of these custom channels are as such: Foil Angles through PLC’s Temperatures from fridges or Oil temperatures from PLC’s and so forth.

WTP Fastout
When installed or placed as an add on, a Sailmon system is able to work in conjunction with a WTP3 processor, thanks to the E4 Black being able to process all data inputs through its WTP3 Serial Port.

Ship Network integration
The Sailmon instruments communicate using standard 100Mbps ethernet allowing for fast and flexible integration. Each device is a DHCP client which allows our system to be integrated in the yachts network. Have as many screens as you want using smart devices. All system control is done using our Navdesk application.
