Gunner calls the beautiful island of Fuerteventura home and has been foiling since 2010. He takes to the skies every day, no matter what the conditions are. “I absolutely love how versatile this sport is. With a foil, you can do so much: winging, windsurfing, prone foiling, stand-up paddleboarding, dockstart pumping, and kite foiling.”

”Let me share a story about the Spanish Cup for Winfoil Surf-Slalom. I was feeling nervous before the regatta. The first event of the season always brings about a sense of uncertainty. You never know what the competition will be like or if you’ve trained hard enough during the winter break. However, thanks to my Sailmon Mini, I had the opportunity to compare my race training statistics with some of the best athletes in the world. This allowed me to make necessary adjustments, and it truly paid off in this race. I managed to secure top positions in all races except one (where I unfortunately crashed at the start), often finishing a leg ahead of the other competitors. I now feel much more confident as I continue with the rest of the season and eagerly anticipate the next event: the IWSA Wingfoil Racing Europeans in Athens at the end of this month.”
