This is what Ruben Booth says about MAX: ”We’re thrilled with the way Sailmon has revolutionized our training. We can now analyze our performance to the smallest detail, which is absolutely critical at a high level and especially in a class as demanding as the Nacra 17.”

Ruben Booth (born on August 11th 2000) discovered his passion for sailing at a young age, starting with the Optimist class when he was only six years old. From there, he quickly fell in love with racing and has been pushing himself to excel in the sport ever since.

At thirteen years old, Ruben teamed up with his older brother Jordi to prepare for the 2014 Youth World Championships on the SL16 catamaran class. Their hard work paid off as they achieved second place in both the Open and Youth World Championships that year.

In 2016, Ruben began sailing with his younger sister Rita on the Nacra 15, and they competed in the 2016 Youth World Championships together. They went on to become Nacra 15 World Champions in 2019, and they are currently sailing together on the Nacra 17 as part of their Olympic campaign towards Paris 2024 and Los Angeles 2028.

In addition to their Olympic campaign, Ruben has also been competing in F18 sailing, mostly with his father and other sailors. In 2021, they became F18 World Champions. He has also had the opportunity to coach Olympic Nacra 17 teams, such as Puerto Rico and Guatemala.

Ruben is excited to continue pushing himself to achieve even greater success in the future.
