Troubleshooting: Calypso Ultrasonic Wind Sensor

Go through the checklist below if you have trouble connecting the Calypso Ultrasonic Wind Sensor to your MAX:

  • Test the wind sensor by connecting it to the official Calypso Instruments phone app. Search for “Calypso Instruments AnemoTracker”, in the App store or Play Store respectively or click the links below.

    > Android Play Store
  • If you are able to connect to the sensor to the official phone app but can not connect it with MAX, please perform a factory reset on MAX. Click here for instructions.
  • Make sure the wind sensor is properly charged, place it outside or under a LED light (30W power, 5500K color temperature) for 72hrs and try to connect again.

If you continue to have difficulties connecting the Calypso Ultrasonic Wind Sensor to MAX, please contact our Customer Support.

Note: Calypso Instruments has two apps, one for using the wind sensor (AnemoTracker), one for configuring and updating the sensor (AnemoTracker Configure&Update).
