Francesco is an all-around sailor. Followed the “classic” sailing career: from taking part in the Optimist Worlds to sailing the Olympic classes (470), then switched to keelboats with offshore racing as well. Got involved with foiling with the Waszp and recently with the 69F as well. Achievements include a 2nd place at Palmavela as the tactician of Melges 40 “Synergy”; event overall wins in one-design classes like the Melges 20 (2017 and 2019), national titles in the ORC (2008, 2012, 2015, 2017) and wins and podiums in the biggest Mediterranean offshore races (Giraglia 2nd place overall, Middle Sea Race 1st place class, 151Miglia 1st place overall, PalermoMontecarlo 2nd place overall, …). In flying boats, achievements include podiums at Foiling Week and skipper of the Lisa Foiling Team with the 69F.
