The Sailmon Wind Box is an interface for 3rd party wind sensors to be connected to the E4 Processor by means of the NMEA 2000 backbone. Up to 3 Windboxes can be connected to a single processor.  The Windbox provides overvoltage and electrostatic protection by means of galvanic isolation.

Functionalities:
The Sailmon Wind Box is an interface for 3rd party wind sensors to be connected to the E4 Processor by means of the NMEA 2000 backbone. Up to 3 Windboxes can be connected to a single processor.  The Windbox provides overvoltage and electrostatic protection by means of galvanic isolation.

The wind box measure both wind speed and angle at 100Hz when connected to the E4 processor.

Connection:
The Windbox is supplied with the a 5m  NMEA 2000 interface cable pre‐installed,  masthead cables are connected by means of push type connectors

The unit is housed in a waterproof case rated to  IP65
