Meet the 25.12m yacht Oyster 825 Reina! This magnificent yacht is designed by Humphreys Yacht Design and built by Oyster Yachts. The Reina’s interior designer made the yacht feel more like a luxury boutique hotel rather than the inside of a sailing yacht. By increasing the luxery look of the yacht, the boat is equipped with Sailmon.
"The last three hours were extreme, frightening and fast," says America's Cup winner James Spithill on board of the by Sailmon equipped Trimaran Macif. François Gabart invited Spithill for a 48-hour trip at high intensity. Although Spithill is a very experienced sailor, he is clearly impressed by the intense race and the performance of Gabart. During the trip the Trimaran Macif reached speeds of 47 knots.
The Eagle 54 is designed in close cooperation with Hoek design. Hoek Design is one of the world’s leading offices for naval architecture. As you would expect from Leonardo Yachts no compromises on beauty and elegance were made in the design.
From now on it is possible to use every font for the Sailmon displays. According to Design Director & Development Director Kalle Coster, it is a next step in the adaptability of the displays: "Our displays are already adaptable to an unprecedented level. That is now even greater since users can determine the font themselves."
A new software update has been released for NavDesk. Version 3.1.4 has a number of improvements and bug fixes over the previous version. "We completely overhauled all elements on the screen. A lot of details were improved in the process while it should still have the same overall look and feel," says Software and Development Manager Bernhard Hartleb.
